Born in Bradford, England, in 1937, David Hockney attended art school in London before moving to Los Angeles in the 1960s. There, he painted his famous swimming pool paintings. In the 1970s, Hockney began working in photography, creating photo collages he called joiners. To create these picture i didn't really follow the rules i figured out that i could give it my own version. i had the pictures lined up and i would crop/ cut and the move them to a separate picture that was going to end up being the main picture. I then continued this throughout the whole project.

The reason i chose this magazine was because i like now they keep it simple and don't add to much to it. The font i used was black to continue the simple look to it. The strops light was used to give a nice bright look to it. The grey card was used to make sure the the light was bright enough.
Theres not much to this its simple the way the magazine is supposed to be. MY WAY. Simple. Explains me. Thats it. there waS A reflector used to give a highlight and to avoid shadow.. Around the magazine are things like border angels which is an organization that help out those who are trying to get a better nice for themselves and their children. While mostly white racists closed minded greedy people try to bring us down the group will only get bigger to help those in need. They continue to try to stop us from helping but that only pushes us to do more. That was the purpose of my magazine cover to empower those looking for a change. To not lose faith on our people. Muchacho De Campo - Voz De Mando
This picture was inspired by the numerous award winning song “Muchacho De Campo” by the regional mexican group Voz De Mando. The song relates to many people's story and for me it hits home. The song is based on a poor country man falling for a women who’s from the city. He expresses his feeling towards her and apologizes for his inconvenience because he doesn't have the same amount of education and is unable to provide what others may offer her. But one thing he is able to provide is his conditional love and what he does have his land is is willing to share the little that he does have. The story behind this picture is pretty straight forward. They both have dark pasts; the girl has a dark scary traumatic pasts while the guy has a blurry past unable to recall the things he's been through. The reason why the his side is blurry is to represent how unstable he is. But in the end they are still together and towards the middle you could see that it's brighter.
Velvet night so softly caressing, In my arms my ancient blessing, Ever my glory, ever my dream, You shall ever be my love supreme. Love divine on the breath of a sigh, We belong to those who never die, The time for joining coming soon, In night divine beneath the moon. Sheltered whispers waiting for me, Smooth words teasing, tenderly; Beneath a halo, twilight surprise, Undressing your ego with my eyes. Tenaciously tempting, minds drift away, Sapphire skies declare end of day; What flows from the heart, pools in the flesh, Immortal’s the night as lovers mesh. 1. What does mandala mean, in your own words? A mandala is the focus of a certain area on a picture, put into a spiral affect. To create this 'look' you would need to download the Adobe Photoshop app. To make all these steps easier watch the mandala tutorial on YouTube. First you want to open up the app head over to File and select New. After you open the New File you want to also choose a the picture that you want to duplicate 2. How you created the mandala- be specific, not just "I followed the instructions from Mrs. Moncure." I want you to be able to do this in five years, and use your own words! DO NOT COPY & PASTE FROM HERE! 3. What did you like about this? What was your favorite image? 4. What did you struggle with? 5. If you had to do it over again, what would you do differently? |
